Southern Sports Medicine Institute offers one of the only open MRI's in Sumner County, Tennessee.  We are easily accessible from Gallatin, Hendersonville, Portland and Lebanon Tennessee and the surrounding Nashville area.  Our open MRI provides patients with an alternative to cramped, noisy, and uncomfortable MRI examinations. Our "Open" MRI system makes it possible for you to come to a facility where you can get your MRI --- without the concern of being placed in a narrow tube for an extended period of time. Open MRI systems are ideal for pediatric, elderly, claustrophobic, and anxious patients or anyone who would prefer not to go into a closed system. An MRI specialized radiologist will interpret your study images and provide the most accurate readings possible. We accept most major insurance and often can provide same day or next day service.
